A. Laurent - French, January 24, 1858 who discovered the asteroid 51 Nemausa. Has made no other discoveries, and virtually nothing is known about his life, Édouard Stephan described him as "very capable young man " (un jeune homme très habil). It was discovered from a private observatory located in a house formerly belonging to Benjamin Valza, who moved in the meantime to Marseilles, where he assumed leadership of the local observatory.
